I’m writing to let you know of a tenure-track position in the Office of Digital Humanities at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. The successful applicant will teach classes in our Digital Humanities and Technology minor, partner with faculty throughout the College of Humanities and beyond to support DH research, and conduct original research.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in user interface/user experience (UI/UX) and design (either print or web-based) or those with experience in data visualization, but are happy to receive applications from candidates with experience in one or more of the following: computer-assisted language learning (CALL), computational linguistics, digital humanities methods and tools. We also welcome applications from candidates with other backgrounds that they think may be relevant to our work.
The full listing is available at the following (ungainly) link: https://hrms.byu.edu/psc/ps/PUBLIC/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM.HRS_APP_SCHJOB.GBL?Page=HRS_APP_JBPST&Action=U&SiteId=70&FOCUS=Employee&JobOpeningId=101457&PostingSeq=1.
I am on the search committee and would be happy to answer questions via email or phone about the position or working at BYU.
Best,
Brian
