I am reaching out to share our position announcement for an Assistant Professor of Liberal Studies with expertise in Environmental Humanities and Sustainability.
The focus of the position, broadly construed, is on urban environmental/sustainability within larger structures of unequal economic, political, social, and/or ideological relations. We especially welcome approaches to the environmental humanities that address poverty, health, education, LGBTQ equity, environmental justice movements/activism/struggles, labor, food security, water/air/soil quality, energy, sustainable cities, housing, climate, and other quality of life issues.
