Subject: frankenstein and pinocchio
i am researching early literary examples of "pre-cyborgs," in
tales such as
pygmalion, frankenstein and pinocchio.  there is very little info on
pinocchio's author --  c. collodi -- but he did write pinoc. after
shelley's
frankenstein, and i'd like to find out just how much of that he was
consciously lifting/dumbing down for children.
