reading wb's "work of art in the age of mechanical
reproduction,"
was a real turning point for me, and thereafter i directed my studies
towards the sci,tech,society curriculum. can anyone reccomend similar
essays
of the era?

Adorno's essay "Valery Proust Museum," which frames some
important
critique of "archival" sensibilities germane to lit/sci/tech
studies.
