Dear Dr. Perkovitz:
Thank you very much for your response to _Event Horizon_.  We are
excited
about its prospects, for the journal is in its earliest stages of
preparation, and the focus of its dialogue between science and the
humanities
remains broad.  It will be published in a print edition to be reproduced
and
supplemented on-line.
A statement of your exact interests and a proposal, if you would like
to
contribute an article or review, or a statement of your expertise and
academic background, if you would like to serve as a reader or referee,
are
welcomed by us as we survey the variety of responses we have received.
Please forward these materials.  Articles may be formatted following
the
standard of your field.  Technical content must be accessible to those
outside of the sciences, but ambitious nonetheless.
