I recently issued a call for a special session on science in
contemporary British literature for the '97 MLA convention.  I am
revising
the title of the session to "Science and Contemporary
Literature," and
hope that anyone who felt excluded by the original call will now be
able
to propose a paper.  The deadline for receipt of proposals remains 4/5.
