An Encyclopedia of Literature and Science, ed. Pamela Gossin,
Greenwood Press.
List of Entries Available as of 4-7-98:
(Some previously listed; others new to the list)
This represents an updated list of the remaining topics needing
authors. Approximately 690 entries have already been received or are
currently being written. I need to have all text for the volume
ready to send in to the publisher by the end of 98. We are aiming
for publication in late 99 or early 2000. Ideally, I need to ask
each contributor to write 5 or more entries. Deadlines are
negotiable within the schedule outlined above. Compensation is the
traditional copy of the vol. The focus of each entry throughout the
encyclopedia is to provide a discussion of the literary relations of
the scientific topics and vice versa, rather than give general
definitions or descriptions of the topics per se.

Subject: Re: Encyc of Lit and Sci, latest list
I would like to undertake the following:
Bruno Latour
John Banville
Lit and Sci in England
Lawrence Durrell
Isaac Newton
I would be happy to send you a copy of my vita, if you would like to
assess my credentials.
Could you tell me a little more about the format, especially concerning
the length of
entries? #3 above is could be rather daunting!
Thanks,
Dr. Michael B. McDonald
