At least this year the MSA meeting occurs the week after, rather than
of,  the SLS meeting.  For this meeting Linda Henderson and I will chair
a seminar on Modernism and Science.  Please consider attending the
meeting, participating in our seminar or another from the wide selection
listed below.  Thanks for passing this call to others who may be
interested.

"New Modernisms II" offers scholars the opportunity to

discussions based on brief papers (5 pages) that
