The program for the SLS Conference, Oct. 10-13 in Pasadena, is now 
available (along with all kinds of useful information) on the 
conference website, http://SLS-2002.caltech.edu/   The conference 
will have a great location and an outstanding program, with a plenary 
event at the Huntington Library plus over 200 speakers (including 
around 20 international scholars).  Please come, even if you're not 
planning to present!  We do need chairs for a number of sessions (all 
those on the program with no chair identified); if you're interested 
in chairing any of these please let me know as soon as possible. 
Hope to see you here in October!
