Hi,

You may or may not have noticed the recent porno-spam sent out to
litsci-l. I say, "may not" because some of you may have the misfortune
of being inundated by spam, and because litsci-l was not in the To or CC
fields. But it did go through the list, and you have my apologies for
that.

We've tightened the restrictions on the list a bit, so that if your
From: address is not exactly the same as the address subscribed, your
submission will have to be approved by yours truly. Hopefully, this
hurdle (which, truth be told, I had assumed was part of the package we
had going) will prevent spam from hitting the list.

I appreciate your patience, as always.
