Dear lit/sci listees,
A brief apology.
First, I just hit the "send" instead of the
"delete" key, as I started this
message. That's one way to abuse the list.
Second, my stupid response "I'm not Lance" was not all that
stupid, since I
have copies of the 1994 (New Orleans) SLS abstract books and had just
told
Carol Colatrella that privately. When her message about abstract books
appeared a few minutes later, I thought that she had inadvertently sent
me a
message intended for Lance.
There really is a structural problem in listserv, which could be handled
by
providing the option to reply either to the whole list or to the
sender.
Best wishes to all of you.
